Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms govern use of THE OATH WALL and purchases of its digital publishing service. By placing an order you accept the version shown before checkout. The operator and contact details are below. Real purchases remain unavailable until the live payment setup is complete.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a binding agreement and authorized to use your payment method. Do not use the service where doing so would be unlawful.

3. Description of the Service

You submit a short personal promise and purchase its publication and presentation on Wall 001: a unique number and wall position, public oath page and URL, downloadable sharing artwork, and the selected tier’s visual treatment. No physical goods are shipped. This is not a donation, investment, NFT, cryptocurrency, security, lottery or gambling product.

4. Digital Purchases

Standard costs USD $3, Blood USD $9 and Founder USD $29, each a one-time payment with no automatic renewal. The checkout shows the final amount and any applicable tax. Founder has exactly 100 designated positions on Wall 001; additional walls do not create more Founder positions. Temporary reservations do not guarantee a completed purchase. You buy a digital publication service, not ownership of the website, wall infrastructure, domain, software, company, intellectual property or virtual real estate.

5. User-Submitted Oaths

Review your text, public display name, position and tier before paying. Submit only content you have the right to publish. Your oath and chosen name or Anonymous label become public, together with its number, position, tier and publication date. Do not include private, confidential, financial, medical, identification, contact or other sensitive personal information. An Anonymous label does not make the text unidentifiable.

6. Publication and Permanence

Payment must be confirmed on our server and the oath must pass content review before publication. Payment alone does not instantly publish it. If a paid order cannot be fulfilled, it must be investigated and resolved through fulfillment or an appropriate refund. References to an oath or placement as “permanent” or “forever” mean that the service is designed to preserve the published oath for the operating lifetime of THE OATH WALL, subject to these Terms. They do not guarantee that the website, company, infrastructure, domain or service will operate indefinitely. The original oath and its position normally cannot be edited after publication; preserving the original commitment is part of the service. Statutory privacy and consumer rights still apply.

7. Prohibited Content

Do not submit illegal content, credible threats, harassment, hate content, sexual exploitation, unauthorized personal information, impersonation, fraud, spam, commercial advertising, malware or malicious links, intellectual-property infringement, content that violates payment-provider requirements, or other abusive or unlawful material.

8. Moderation

We may review, reject, hide or restrict content when reasonably necessary to address these Terms, unlawful material, abuse, harassment, threats, infringement, fraud, spam, privacy violations, payment fraud or chargebacks, security risks, or legal and regulatory requirements. Moderation does not transfer ownership of your words to us. A hidden published position remains occupied. Contact support to request review of a decision. A rejected, unfulfilled paid order is handled under the Refund Policy; rejection does not automatically forfeit mandatory refund rights.

9. Intellectual Property

The service design, branding, software and other service materials remain with their respective owners. You retain ownership of your original oath text to the extent recognized by law. A purchase does not grant a right to resell a position or any promise of financial return.

10. User Content License

You grant THE OATH WALL a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, publicly display and format your submitted oath, generate sharing images, technically distribute it through service providers, and display or promote the public wall. This license is limited to operating and promoting THE OATH WALL and its public wall experience. It does not claim ownership of your text or permit unrelated commercialization of it. It lasts as necessary for the publication you request and related lawful retention, subject to applicable rights.

11. Payments

Where enabled, Paddle processes checkout as merchant of record under its Buyer Terms. Its checkout identifies the seller for the transaction. We receive the payment status and references needed to associate payment with your order; we do not store full card numbers. A browser success screen is not proof of fulfillment. Sandbox checkouts are clearly labeled and charge no real money.

12. Refunds

Our Refund Policy, applicable Paddle rules and mandatory consumer rights apply. Personalized publication does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Keep your order and transaction references.

13. Service Availability

We maintain the service with reasonable care, but interruptions, maintenance, security events, infrastructure changes and eventual closure are possible. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or infinite operation. If a material interruption prevents paid fulfillment, contact support for resolution. Nothing here removes mandatory remedies.

14. Disclaimer

Oaths are statements by their authors, not promises by THE OATH WALL that a personal goal will be achieved. Publication does not endorse the text and is not professional, financial or medical advice. No investment, resale or financial value is promised.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or a person’s failure to keep an oath. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

16. Termination

You may stop using the service. We may restrict access for material breaches or security and legal reasons. Stopping use does not automatically erase an already-public oath; privacy, removal and refund requests are assessed under applicable law and these policies. Any retention and content license remain limited to their stated purposes.

17. Changes to These Terms

The date at the top identifies this version. We may update these Terms for future use and orders, and will explain material changes on the site. Changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to a completed purchase. Any consent legally required for a material change will be requested.
